Mt.Annapurna South Expedition (7,219m)

Annapurna south expedition (7,219m) is popular expedition in Annapurna region. Mt. Annapurna south Expedition offers beautiful Himalayan views, off the beaten trail, exposit green forest of Rhododendron, lush valleys, beautiful landscape, traditional village. Mount Annapurna south expedition can be done with in four weeks including the trekking and climbing. We offer two different way for Annapurna south expedition from Annapurna base camp side and east to north route. We Himalaya Journey Treks and Expedition arrange the Annapurna south climbing according to Adventure seekers/ mountaineers wish and desire. Annapurna south expedition required good physical fitness and climbing experience in Himalayas.
Annapurna south expedition commence Nayapul/Phedi after driving one and half hour from Pokhara. On this expedition , Our guide will take you on well off the beaten trail, on to long, remote mountain ridges, through exposit forest and to visit traditional villages. Views of the Annapurna and the gigantic mass of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre are utterly breathtaking and complement many of our phenomenal campsites during this classic trekking and expedition of Annapurna South. After finished the Annapurna south expedition, trekking through Ghorepani poon hill ( one of the best view point centre of Annapurna region) or Ghandrung village – Nayapul then drive back to pokhara.Autumn & spring season is best time for Annapurna south peak climbing but we Mantare Trekking & expedition arrange according to mountaineers wish and holiday schedule.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 02-03: Kathmandu official work & preparation for Annapurna south expedition
Day 04: After breakfast, Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus or by flight. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 05: After breakfast, pokhara by private vehicle drop to Phedi and trek to Deurali.
Day 06: Deurali trek to Jhinu danda( Natural hot spring)
Day 07: Jhinu danda trek to Sinuwa
Day 08: Sinuwa trek to Himalayan Hotel
Day 09: Himalayan Hotel trek to Machhapuchhare /Fish tail Base camp
Day 10: Machhapuchhare base camp trek to Annapurna South Base camp
Day 11-23: Annapurna South Climbing Period.
Day 24: Annapurna South trek to Himalayan Hotel
Day 25: Himalayan Hotel trek to Chhomorung
Day 26: Chhhomorung trek to Ghandrung village
Day 27: Ghandrung village trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara
Day 28: After breakfast, Pokhara by tourist bus or by flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 29: Leisure/free time in Kathmandu and in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 30: After breakfast, relaxing /shopping with own activities then before three hours your international flight, Mantare Himalayan Treks & Expedition’s airport representative will drop to you Kathmandu international airport for onward journeys

  1. All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop)
  2. Hotel accommodations in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast plan (before & after expedition)
  3. Transport of food supply and expedition equipments to Base Camp and back.
  4. Full board in lodges during trekking to base camp and back.
  5. All kitchen tent, store tent, dining tents, toilet tent, table & chairs & cooking utensils for Base Camp.
  6. Base Camp single sleeping tent & Mattress for each member, BC staffs & Liaison officer.
  7. Food and fuel at Base Camp.
  8. Service of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp.
  9. Service of Government Liaison officer.
  10. Equipments allowance, wages of cook, kitchen boys & Liaison officer.
  11. Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison Officer and porters.
  12. Government fee for expedition and conservation fee
  13. One high altitude Sherpa per climber to carry all food & gear to higher camps. Also assist the member during climb & summit attempt
  14. 4 oxygen bottles (4 lts) per member with mask and regulator (for use only) " Poisk oxygen system"
  15. Common climbing equipment (necessary rope, ice bars, ice screws, etc).
  16. Walkie-talkies for each member base unit at Base Camp.
  17. High altitude food.
  18. High altitude fuel.
  19. High altitude tents.
  20. 2 Expedition duffel bag for each member.
  21. Generator or, Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging.
  22. Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
  23. Emergency medical oxygen at Base Camp.
  1. International airfare from/to your country.
  2. Nepal entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  3. Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  4. Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.
  5. Personal climbing gear and equipment above Base Camp
  6. Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation & lost luggage. Applicable permit fees and customs charges and commercial filming
  7. Oxygen & Mask and regulator (will be provided as per request)
  8. Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone etc.
  9. Tips and bonuses.
  10. Garbage deposit fee.
