Around Annapurna Trek

The Annapurna region lies to the north of Pokhara and is accessible after five hours drive from Kathmandu. It is one of the most sought after areas in Nepal by trekkers from across the world. This trekking region consists of both Annapurna peaks, Mt. Dhulagiri (6th highest peak in Nepal and 9th in the world) and several other significant mountain views. It follows the Marsyngdi valley to the north of the main Himalayan range and crosses Throngla (5,416m) before descending into the dramatic Tibetan style desert scenery of the upper Kali Gandaki valley. It offers the entire Annapurna massif, the regional cultural diversities and villages Gurung, Manangis and Thakalis.
