Mt. Langtang Lirung expedition (7,234m)

Mt. Langtang Lirung expedition is one of the well known Himalaya expedition in Nepal which is located on the center north of Nepal and near to Tibet border a head of Langtang village. Mt. Langtang Lirung (7234m.) is very beautiful and excellent massif view of Langtang range. Mount Langtang Lirung expedition ascent by British team in 1973. Having established base camp, successful acclimatization ascents were made on Tserku Ri, Yala Peak, Urkin Ma and Naya Kanga. There was two climbing group attempt to expedition of the Mount Langtang Lirung via the south East Ridge in 1973. Mt. Langtang Lirung expedition offers several climbing routes accessible from Kyanjing Gompa of Langtang Valley. We start our classical trekking route from Shyabru Besi (1462m.), langtang village, Kyanjing Gompa (3049m.) and explore couple of days in Kyanjing for Acclimatization then we move towards to the Base Camp.
Langtang Lirung expedition begins at Shyabru Besi (1462m.) after 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu . Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu 1334m, transfer to hotel Mt. Langtang Lirung Expedition briefing with officially arrangements. Overnight at kathmandu.
Day 02: After breakfast, excursion around Kathmandu valley,Leisure time in Kathmandu. overnight at Kathamndu
Day 03: After breakfast, excursion around Kathmandu valley, our representative will procedure for Mount Langtang Lirung expedition permit and preparation for Langtang Lirung Expedition. overnight at Kathamndu
Day 04: Drive to Shyabru Bensi (1462m).
Day 05: Trek to Lama Hotel (2240m).
Day 06: Langtang Village (3307m).
Day 07: Kyanzin Gompa (3049m).
Day 08: Kyanzin Gompa., acclimatization day.
Day 09: Langtang Lirung Base Camp.
Day 10-27: Climbing Period.
Day 28: Cleaning up Base Camp.
Day 29: Langtang Village.
Day 30: Lama Hotel.
Day 31: Shyabru Bensi.
Day 32: Drive back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 33: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to for historical monuments sightseeing in kathmandu valley such as Boudhhanath: visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa than visitPashupatinath: the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here you see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Kathmandu durbar square: you will enjoy with different Hindus Temple , Goddes Kumari, legend of kathmadu valley and in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese Restaurant, overnight at Kathmandu in Hotel
Day 34: After breakfast, relaxing or shopping with own activities than Mantare Himalayan Treks & expedition airport representative will drop to you Kathmandu international airport for onward destination.

  1. All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop)
  2. Hotel accommodations in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel on Bed & Breakfast plan (before & after expedition)
  3. Transport of food supply and expedition equipments to Base Camp and back.
  4. Full board in lodges during trekking to base camp and back.
  5. All kitchen tent, store tent, dining tents, toilet tent, table & chairs & cooking utensils for Base Camp.
  6. Base Camp single sleeping tent & Mattress for each member, BC staffs & Liaison officer.
  7. Food and fuel at Base Camp.
  8. Service of cook and kitchen boy at Base Camp.
  9. Service of Government Liaison officer.
  10. Equipments allowance, wages of cook, kitchen boys & Liaison officer.
  11. Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison Officer and porters.
  12. Government fee for expedition and conservation fee
  13. One high altitude Sherpa per climber to carry all food & gear to higher camps. Also assist the member during climb & summit attempt
  14. 4 oxygen bottles (4 lts) per member with mask and regulator (for use only) " Poisk oxygen system"
  15. Common climbing equipment (necessary rope, ice bars, ice screws, etc).
  16. Walkie-talkies for each member base unit at Base Camp.
  17. High altitude food.
  18. High altitude fuel.
  19. High altitude tents.
  20. 2 Expedition duffel bag for each member.
  21. Generator or, Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging.
  22. Sat Phone available at Base Camp, but nominal charge for use.
  23. Emergency medical oxygen at Base Camp.

  2. Nepal entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  3. Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  4. Hotel after 5 night stay in Kathmandu.

  6. Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation & lost luggage. Applicable permit fees and customs charges and commercial filming
