Mt. Shishapangma Expedition (8,013m)

Mt. Shishapangma expedition is also the most popular expedition in Tibet. Shishapangma expedition offer really superb Himalayan range views of Mount Everest, Mt. Cho Oyu , Gurla Mandata, Lhakpa Ri etc, beautiful valleys, Potala palace & significant Tibetan monasteries. Mount Shishapangma 8103 is 14th above eight thousand mountain in the world. Mt. Shishapangma mountaineering is considered one of the easy 8000 meter peaks with high rate of success for climbing in Tibet though of course physically fitness and experienced climber is required for Shishapangma climbing. Spring and summer season are best time for Mount Shishapangma expedition but we Mantare Himalaya Treks & expedition can manage around the year as per mountaineers wish and holiday schedule. We arrange both the logistic support to ABC and fully guided climbing on Shishapangma expedition. Since Shishapangma expedition has been open by Tibet mountaineering association numerous mountaineers successfully climbed this mountain.

Trip Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu 1334m, transfer to hotel Mt. Shishapangma Expedition briefing with officially arrangements. Overnight at kathmandu.
Day 02-03: After breakfast, excursion around Kathmandu valley, our representative will procedure for Mount Shishapangma expedition permit and preparation for Mount Shishapanga . overnight at Kathamndu
Day 04: Drive to Kodari, Transfer to Zhangmu (2300M.) hotel
Day 05: Drive Nylam 3750m. Over night at hotel
Day 06: Nylam rest for acclimatization
Day 07: Drive to Chanise Base camp
Day 08: Rest & prepare load for ABC
Day 09: Trek to ABC
Day 10-34: Climbing Period Shishapangama
Day 35: Drive to Tingri
Day 36: Drive to Zhangmu
Day 37: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 38-39: After breakfast, Our tour guide will take to you historical monuments sightseeing around Kathmandu valley such as Boudhhanath : visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa thanvisit Pashupatinath: the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here you see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. Kathmandu durbar square: you will enjoy with different Hindus Temple, Goddes Kumari, legend of kathmadu valley and in the evening farewell dinner in Nepalese restaurant. Overnight at Kathmandu
Day 40: After breakfast, relaxing or shopping with own activities than Mantare Himalayan Treks & expedition airport representative will drop to you Kathmandu international airport for onward destination.

  11. 4 Oxygen bottles per member with mask and regulator for expedition use (Poisk Oxygen System).
  12. 2 Oxygen for climbing Sherpa.
  13. Equipments allowance, wages of cook, kitchen boy and Liaison officer.
  14. Insurance of cook, kitchen boy, Liaison officer and porters.
  15. Peak Permit fee of Mt. Everest.
  16. Khumbu Ice Fall route fee.

  18. One high altitude Sherpa per climber to carry all food & gear to higher camps. Also assist the member during climb & summit attempt.
